Privacy Policy
Effective June 24, 2026
BarCraft is a cocktail-spec app for working bartenders. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.
Who we are
BarCraft is operated by an independent developer. For any privacy question, contact adamliscia@gmail.com.
How you sign in
BarCraft uses Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google. We never see or store a password. When you sign in, the provider gives us a stable account identifier and (if you allow it) your email address.
What we collect
- Account info — your email address, a display name, and the account identifier from Apple or Google.
- Your preferences — such as your unit preference (oz or ml).
- Content you create — the cocktails, recipes, likes, favorites, and tags you add, including any cocktail you mark public.
- Photos — optional images you attach to your cocktails.
- AI Mentor chats — the messages you send to the in-app Mentor and its replies, so your conversations persist across sessions.
How we use it
To provide the app: authenticate you, store and sync your specs and preferences, power search and the feed, and run the AI Mentor. That's it.
Service providers
We rely on a few processors strictly to operate BarCraft:
- Apple and Google — sign-in.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, database, and image storage.
- Anthropic — powers the AI Mentor; your Mentor messages are sent to Anthropic to generate replies.
We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — it removes your specs, recipes, likes, favorites, photos, and Mentor conversations. Public cocktails that other users have already saved (forked) remain as their own independent copies. You can also email adamliscia@gmail.com to request deletion.
Children
BarCraft is intended for adults working in or around hospitality and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region).
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above.
